Teacher Assisting a Student

The Problem

Imagine a student, bright and full of potential, but facing hurdles others don't. Maybe they're the first in their family to dream of college, but don't know where to start. Or perhaps they see a future in a high-powered career, but lack the connections and skills to get there. For many students lacking the social and financial capital, these aren't just hypotheticals – they're everyday realities. They face higher costs, less access to good advice, and often, a feeling of being alone in a system that wasn't built for them. This creates a gap, a divide where potential is lost.
